Senior Vice President, Enterprise Fraud Risk Management

Aaron Brehove is Senior Vice President, Fraud Risk Officer at Truist, where he leads enterprise fraud risk oversight across retail consumer and commercial business segments. He chairs the Enterprise Fraud Risk Oversight Working Group, coordinating fraud prevention strategies across 14 stakeholder teams to identify emerging fraud trends, facilitate remediation efforts, and ensure transparency that prevents control implementations from creating cross-team vulnerabilities. With more than 15 years of experience in fraud and enterprise risk management at large U.S. financial institutions, Aaron focuses on building scalable fraud governance, challenge, and reporting frameworks that support growth while protecting clients and the firm. His current thought leadership centers on the next phase of anti fraud work in financial services: partnering with large corporate clients to strengthen their defenses against generative AI enabled scams and business email compromise, including practical guidance on taking instructions via unauthenticated platforms and reinforcing controls across their broader ecosystems.
